5 reasons to work at Envirotecture

1. Common values

Our foundation is a rock solid commitment to an equitable, sustainable future. Our team members bring diverse talents and perspectives but we all have this in common. Our goal is not designing buildings; it’s using our skills as architects and designers etc to create better environments and communities. As Talina likes to say, “It feels good to do good things with good people for the greater good!” We’re dreamers of big dreams but we get stuff done too. Please read about our history and values.

2. Respect for the whole person

We care deeply about our work and give it our best but we never lose sight of people’s lives outside of paid work. Most of our team work a compressed work week over four days. We never expect staff to work overtime or on weekends.

3. Professional development

The directors are committed to mentoring staff so they continue to learn and grow in their career. We support and encourage professional-development opportunities.

4. Respect for difference

You can bring all of yourself to work here. We recognise that diversity makes us stronger and celebrate the different perspectives, experiences, backgrounds and personalities of our people.

5. Great workspaces

Covid lockdowns really showed us the value and importance of having the team working from the same physical location. It’s how we best learn, grow, inspire and teach each other. We maintain an office in both NSW and VIC, welcoming environments that are comfortable and effective spaces in which to work. Occasional work from home (WFH) arrangements can be negotiated, as can flexible hours on a case-by-case basis.
