Envirotecture is supporting a project to rebuild village schools in Salavan Province in Southern Laos, partnering with World Concern and local villagers, supported by the Lao Government.
Designed to be autonomous, the schools use passive design principles such as day-lighting, cross ventilation as well as local and traditional construction materials sourced by the villagers and volunteers. Budget permitting, they will be fitted with water tanks to ensure a clean and reliable supply of drinking and hand washing water for teachers and students.
See all our Commercial DesignsWhen completed the schools will provide the dedicated Lao teachers with a robust facility in which to teach the kids, who are so keen to learn.
Envirotecture supports equitable world development, and has a policy of being involved in at least one overseas project pro bono at any time.
We are inviting past current and future friends, clients, and trading partners to help join us in the construction of each school. For details please click on the link to find out how you can help!
